Registered Clinical Counsellor

In my practice, and sharing this space with you, I bring clear intentions of supporting and guiding you through your own path for self discovery. I bring a person-centred, attachment based, and collaborative approach with the belief that our bodies hold the wisdom and capacity for guiding the path to healing and growth. In our work together, I will help to gently explore the connection between the body, mind, and emotions to develop a deeper awareness and understanding of oneself. My role is not to fix but to hold space for what emerges in sessions as we work together towards your therapeutic goals.

I have experience in crisis counselling and case management for community and housing programming with adults, training that has come through in my approach for creating genuine relationships and offering non-judgemental empathy. I have always been interested in establishing a deeper understanding of our life experiences and their impacts on the development of our personal relationships. Perhaps this stems from my own experience with grief, self-exploration, and reflection but it has developed into the foundation of my appreciation for the strength and resilience that we all share within our unique journeys.

I offer sessions for children (8+), youth, adults, and couples looking to focus on anxiety, depression, grief and loss, emotional regulation, trying to conceive (TTC) journey, parenting, sexual trauma, relationship communication and repair. I have additional training in Somatic Attachment Psychotherapy, Emotion Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT), and Introduction to Play Therapy through the BC Play Therapy Association. I am also an approved trauma-informed counsellor with the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP).

As your counsellor, I hope to establish a therapeutic alliance where you welcome me to sit with you in moments of processing difficult experiences in a shared space. I look forward to taking these steps alongside you offering authenticity, curiosity, and safety as you go through your own journey of reflection and growth.
